Campus Recruitment Policy 2026-27

The Training & Placement (T&P) Cell of Maharaja Agrasen University is committed to maintaining a structured, transparent, and ethical recruitment environment. This policy establishes the guidelines and expectations for recruiters, students, and university representatives participating in campus placement activities.

1. Job Description (JD) Requirement

  • Recruiters must provide a detailed Job Description (JD) prior to sharing candidate information.
  • Candidate details and resumes will not be shared with recruiters unless the JD is complete and verified by the T&P Cell.
  • The JD should include eligibility criteria, skills required, job profile, designation, location, salary, and selection process.

 2. Equal Opportunity and Fair Recruitment

  • All recruitment activities must be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Selection decisions should be based solely on merit, suitability, and organizational requirements.
  • Any form of discrimination or unethical practice during recruitment is strictly prohibited.

3. Participation Rules for Placed Students

  • Students who have already received and accepted an offer may participate in further placement drives only if the new company offers at least 30% higher package than their current offer.
  • Training & Placement student coordinators are permitted to attend all placement drives irrespective of package or domain.
  • For companies offering a package of Rs. 5.0 LPA or higher, all students—whether previously placed or unplaced—are eligible to participate in the recruitment process.

4. Completion of Recruitment Process

  • As the primary responsibility of the T&P Cell is to facilitate employment opportunities for students, recruiters are requested to complete the placement process—including issuance of offer letters to selected candidates—within one month from the commencement of the recruitment process.
  • This ensures that students who are not selected have the opportunity to participate in subsequent recruitment drives.
  • Adherence to this timeline also minimizes the issuance of multiple offer letters to the same candidate, reducing the likelihood of non-joining and ensuring a smoother recruitment experience for all stakeholders.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • All candidate information shared with recruiters is confidential and must be used solely for recruitment purposes.
  • Sharing resumes or personal data with third parties without prior written consent from the T&P Cell is strictly prohibited.

6. Recruitment Schedule and Coordination

  • Recruitment activities should be scheduled to avoid conflicts with semester examinations (December and May).
  • Recruiters must adhere to mutually agreed timelines and coordinate with the T&P Cell for venue arrangements, technical requirements, and candidate coordination.

7. Offer Letter and Joining

  • Recruiters are expected to provide clear communication regarding compensation, designation, joining dates, and terms of employment.
  • Any changes to the offer after selection must be communicated promptly to both the candidate and the T&P Cell.

8. Professional Conduct

  • Recruiters, their representatives, and placement officials must maintain professional conduct during all interactions.
  • The University reserves the right to restrict participation of any recruiter or student violating ethical or professional standards.

9. Long-Term Partnership

Maharaja Agrasen University encourages recruiters to engage in long-term partnerships through internships, skill development initiatives, guest lectures, and industry-academia collaborations alongside the placement drives.
